I know some people are struggling to make ends meet, and might have to make a choice to feed the family or feed their pets.
I’ve been very blessed in my life and never had to make that choice. My critter kids have never had to go without meals.
If the Bakersfield Pet Food Pantry can help to keep someone’s pet in their home, and not be forced into a shelter or to be abandoned, then I’m all for helping out.
If you are able, I encourage you to help keep these families together and the ability to feed their critter kids not be a factor in their future.

I just got a sad call from my good friend Chris Parker.
Chris is Millie’s Aunt, and she shared her life with Millie’s sister Jojo.
Jojo has gone on to join Millie on their final, forever play date.
I know they are running, wrestling and playing like puppies again.
I know they are together waiting for us, and I look forward to the day when we see you girls again.
Thank you both for the memories and love you gave us.
Play on girls, we love you and will see you both again one day…
