…what’s actually going to be inside Studio 410? 👀

I’ve shared bits and pieces of the construction process, but I haven’t really shown y’all what I envision the inside looking like just yet. These inspiration photos aren’t exact renderings of Studio 410, but they’re very close to the style and feel I’m going for. I’m still keeping a few surprises, so here’s a little sneak peek! 🤍

I’ve also had so many people asking what Studio 410 will offer, so I thought I’d share a little more!

✨ 1,200 square feet thoughtfully designed to serve both photography clients and our community.

📸 Large photography studio
A spacious area designed for newborns, milestones, families, seniors, maternity, branding, bo***ir, and so much more.

🛋️ Client lounge
A comfortable place to relax with seating, a TV, and toys while you wait or spend time with family and friends during your session or event.

🍽️ Full kitchen
Perfect for serving food during parties and showers, hosting workshops, creating fun photography setups like Baking with Santa, and offering a coffee and snack bar during sessions.

🎉 Open event space
Designed for birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, workshops, pop-up events, and other intimate gatherings.

🛏️ Private lifestyle room
A cozy space designed to feel like home, perfect for newborn and lifestyle sessions.

🚿 Full bathroom
Featuring a shower, vanity area, and full-length mirror so you’ll have everything you need to get ready and enjoy your time at Studio 410.

🪑 Self-serve prop rentals (coming soon!)
Just outside Studio 410, there will be a separate self-serve prop rental space with unique props, decor, and experiences for photography sessions and special events. I’ll be sharing more about that soon!

📦 Storage room
Keeping everything organized behind the scenes so the studio stays clean, functional, and ready for every session and event.

🤍 But my favorite part isn’t a room at all.

It’s knowing this space will be filled with so many special moments… beautiful portraits, first birthdays, senior portraits, baby showers, birthday parties, and families celebrating milestones together.

Every detail has been planned with one goal in mind: creating an amazing experience from the moment you walk through the doors.

One of the questions I hear the most is…

“You’re building an entire building just for photography?”

Honestly, I can understand why people ask that. Most people don’t realize photography can become a full-time career, let alone one that outgrows a spare bedroom and even a garage studio.

The truth is, Studio 410 is so much more than a photo studio.

Yes, it’ll be home to Moments By Marlee Photography, LLC., but from the very beginning, I dreamed of creating a space that was an experience. A place where families could feel comfortable, where every detail was thoughtfully planned, and where memories would be made long before anyone ever stepped in front of the camera.

It’ll also be a place for birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, workshops, and other special gatherings. My hope is that Studio 410 becomes a place where people celebrate some of life’s sweetest moments.

I’ve prayed over this business for years, and one of my prayers has always been, “Lord, if this isn’t Your will, I don’t want it.” Looking back, I can see His faithfulness in every season and the way He’s guided every step of this journey.

Years ago, I began photographing families in a spare bedroom. Then God opened the door to a garage studio. Now He’s opening the door to something I never imagined.

The name Studio 410 carries a lot of meaning to me, but one of the verses that’s been woven throughout this journey is James 4:10:

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.”

That verse has reminded me every step of the way that none of this is because of me. Every opportunity, every client, every answered prayer, and every blessing has come from Him.

My prayer has always been that this would be more than just a business. I want the Lord to shine through me in everything I do. Photography is simply the avenue He’s given me to love people, serve them well, and hopefully point them to Him. Above all, I hope everything I do points back to the One who made it possible.

I truly can’t wait to open these doors and see what the Lord has in store for Studio 410. Thank y’all for believing in this dream and walking through this journey with me. 🤍

WE HAVE WALLS! 🤍

I walked through it tonight, and for the first time, I could really see the layout. It’s crazy how different it feels once the framing goes up. I could picture everything in its place, and it made me even more excited for what’s ahead.

For everyone who’s been guessing… the building itself is 30×40 (1,200 square feet), plus a 6×10 front porch, bringing the total to 1,260 square feet. It’s amazing how much more spacious it feels once you’re standing inside!

There’s still plenty left to do, but this was a big milestone. One step closer. ✨
