I’m slowly becoming more transparent with my process, mind set and goals behind resale. Today I figured I would throw in pricing transparency too.

Selling secondhand is an art and I have failed the course a few times. Today I accidentally left the secondhand store price on a Burberry trench … whoops 🫠

But when it comes to pricing, the more we can remember that we too are customers and put ourselves in our customers shoes, the better we can make sales, create trust and ultimately, move inventory and attract repeat customers.

BUY SELL TRADE shenanigans, brought to you by Beacon's Closet on W 13th in Manhattan. Top fav store since I first stepped foot in 2006 and lost my mind because I didn’t know secondhand shopping could be sooooo good.

For those who don’t know, I regularly visit NYC and “metaphorically dump” inventory that doesn’t sell for me at the markets. It’s not BAD stuff, just not right for the demographic shopping me.

I brought a mega suitcase on Amtrak and my goal is $400 credit across multiple stores. Then I get dope stuff to sell to you Bmore Flea Vintage & Craft Market Est. 2013 every Saturday and my rotating Sunday markets across the DMV!
