Happy October!! The first of October is the inception date of Aunt Hazel’s WhichCraft Project!!! This month we celebrate our THIRD YEAR IN BUSINESS and the beginning of our FOURTH YEAR providing the community with a place to hold every part of your creative soul!

To be honest with everyone, this next month, we will see if our shop sinks or swims! I know we are in a historic recession but our fair and equitable pricing has seriously fallen behind this summer and we are short on rent, our greatest expense!

We hope our community sees what we are doing and chooses to support us in our time of need! Our biggest goal would be to catch up on rent and NOT have to change our business model that keeps arts and crafts materials accessible and affordable to those that need it.

Please help us by shopping our secondhand arts materials, attending workshops, volunteering your time to sort, sharing our posts, and/or bringing us some money! Everything helps!

We hope to keep the magic around a little longer! Join us! ✨

Happy first day of Fall! Come by and get all you need for a festive Fall🍂👻🍁🎃🦃🥮

Look out for some changes in our hours later this week as we will be out of the shop and offering a free craft for all ages at the Lauraville Fair and Overlea Farmer’s Market this Saturday September 26🧑‍🌾

Can’t wait until Saturday for a craft? Please join us this Wednesday night starting at 5:30pm to learn how to sew your very own scrunchies by hand or byo sewing machine and learn on that! Just $10 to participate, all materials included, all ages welcome! 🪡

There will be dedicated time this Thursday and Sunday for our community to use the work room for whatever independent projects they fancy 🧞‍♀️

This Friday, just our work room will be closed and off limits to crafters while the shop remains open!

Alright guys, another week of summer goes by and hopefully you have better things to do than to craft with really cool and awesome donated and found materials… that’s ok 😌🧘😮‍💨

Here’s what we’ll do, enjoy community freestyle crafting in the maker space until this Sunday, and then for the next two weeks (starting Wednesday), the maker space will be closed for a massive reorganization!! So apologies to the craft plans but, frankly, this is overdue! We plan to have the room fresh and open again for activities, private parties, and community craft time by August 26!

Btw, if you’ve crafted here in the past 3 years and think you might’ve left the most amazing art here, I think you did! And you should find some time in the next 7 days to collect it or it might just get fused to the walls 👀

And if you are a craft aficionado with some time on your hands and the volunteering spirit, please reach out should you want to assist in any step of the reorganization process! We could always use extra hands, brains, and eyes!! Thank you! 🙏

Come by Aunt Hazel’s this Sunday for a back to school activity where we rehab old notebook covers for the new school year! 🌻

Tomorrow, you can join us for a morning session from 10am-12pm and/or an afternoon session from 2-4pm!

We have a plethora of donated journals and notebooks, anywhere from brand new to half used, or feel free to bring one from your collection to rework! 📒

Here we have all the materials you need to design the perfect notebook cover to get you through the challenges you face when learning new things!

This activity is open to all ages and we accept all forms of payment! $10

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it’s already back to school season and you’re probably tired of buying the same thing year after year. ♻️
While we advocate for the deliberate and intentional use of supplies to their very last drop, we also understand when things just go missing! 💨

Thankfully many someones, not long ago, bought waaay too many of those things you need and brought them to Aunt Hazel’s ✨

Come find what you need before classes begin and join us this Sunday for a notebook cover workshop! From 2-4pm we will use paper, vinyl, stickers, charms, lace, whatever you can find to rehabilitate the cover of an old notebook or journal. 📗📕📘📙We have notebooks and a lot of material to embellish with but also feel free to bring in a notebook to use if you have one! The class is $10 and you can reserve your seat ahead of time with the link in our Instagram bio and on our website, or feel free to walk in! 🐙
