We’re heading to the greenhouse early this morning because it is PLANT RESTOCK DAY! 🪴✨

We’ve had so many requests for hanging baskets lately, specifically goldfish plants and strings of things, so we *should* have them in stock in time for our events this weekend! Downside? We will be opening late because, as most of you know, “we” actually means “me,” and unfortunately, I’ve not yet mastered the art of self duplication!

We are so excited to be working with Embroidered Bookish Merch💗 to bring cozy fall apparel to the Sweet Nothings shop! 📖🍂✨

If you want to guarantee that we’ll have the style that you want in the size that you need, preordering is the way to go.

This preorder campaign will run for two weeks, starting on Friday, August 14th, and will remain open until Friday, August 28th, so that we’ll be able to receive them just in time for Sweater Weather here in Maryland!

These items can be preordered through our website or here with us at the shop; they will ONLY be available for in-store pickup and are expected to arrive by the beginning of October.

I’ll be offsite at Chop Shop Tattoo Co. this Saturday, popping up at their Flash Tattoo and Piercing event!

On the downside, we will have reduced shopping hours on Saturday. My sister will be holding the shop down, so stop in between 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM to say hi and pick up any must-haves!

Off Campus Trivia with WhimsyIRL Bookish Social Club + Events Whimsy Spice & Sometimes Nice | A Read-Along Romantasy Podcast

It was such a fun event and we all had the best time! 🥅💕🏒 Congrats to the winning team!



Our Book Club went off site to Sagamore Spirit

We spent the afternoon learning about the distilling process and sampled some incredible local whiskey and bourbon, while discussing our Book Club Pick “Rumors & Whiskey” by Victoria Wilder 🥃✨



We’ve had tattoo artists pop up in our shop before and now it’s finally time to return the favor!

We’ll be at Chop Shop Tattoo Co. this coming Saturday, August 8th to bring books and plants to all those participating in their flash tattoo and piercings event!



August 15th is Bookstore Romance Day!
We’re still fine tuning all of the details, but don’t worry, it’ll be special 📖💕



August 16th is our Summer Block Party with The Vanity House • Baltimore Beauty Parlor ☀️💋

We’ll have vendors popping up both inside and outside of the shop, as well as drink specials from Fig & Fable Cafe and Bookstore , so be sure to stop by!



Friday, August 21st we’ll be hosting our first board game night over at Fig & Fable Cafe and Bookstore 🃏♥️

Bring your own game or play one of ours and get ready for a bit of friendly competition!



Saturday, August 22nd is Renn Faire at Heavy Seas Beer Come for the revelry, stay for the costumes, the opportunity to support local small businesses, and of course, the beer! 🍻
