Well things are picking up. Striper fishing on the bay is getting better and the shad fishing is pretty much in full swing. We've had reports the deer creek is full of shad, and fisherman for that matter, and the bite is on. If you want to avoid the crowds try the Gunpowder at Rt.40. I stopped by there this morning (04.26.14) and had 13 hickory and 1 white perch. I saw a few kids fishing there for crappie and they did pretty well. They also caught a yellow perch. Bows the time to get out there and wet a line!
