One of the best modern Fender combo amps - the EC Twinolux. Handwired, Mercury Magnetics transformers, dual 5U4 rectifier, solid pine cabinet, built in power attenuator, two 12” speakers. Just measured 50 watts clean output power at 4 Ω.

Found this mains ground reference capacitor (the “death cap”) that was never soldered and clipped. It left the factory like this and has been working fine for 54 years. The amp is a 1972 Sunn Model T.
