Just a resounding, messy, teary-eyed thank you for all of the support over the last few years. We went from posting photos of our favorite feminist comics into the void of social media to opening our own store to share those stories with folks in our community in real time (including free Q***r books for youth available no questions asked all the time always), and that’s thanks to the support we’ve found here.

When we started this page a few years ago, we felt it best to remove our faces & names after repeated threats of physical & s*xual violence, and yesterday, our photos were on the front page of The Baltimore Sun shouting about Q***r comics and the life-changing and saving role of representation (and we only got one vaguely threatening message)!

If you’d like to read the article, it’s linked in our bio, but ultimately, we just wanted to say thank you, and if you’re ever in Baltimore, we hope you’ll come visit 💖

Today marks 52 years since the start of the Stonewall Riots, where Black & Latinx trans women and Q***r People of Color fought back against a violent police raid of the Stonewall Inn.

While there are many amazing bookstacks floating around for Pride month, we want to challenge folks to make sure those stacks are representative of the broader Q***r community & Q***r history. Does your stack include stories by Black & Latinx trans voices? How about s*x workers? Does it include drag queens and ballroom culture?

Pride month & Q***r history are founded in rebellion and resistance by Q***r People of Color and those voices deserve to be centered during June and beyond.

Shown here are a few of our favorites discussing Stonewall and other Q***r uprisings, but please drop your recommendations in the comments!

Happy National Superhero Day, friends!

There is no shortage of aspirational costumed heroes to celebrate today, but we hope you can celebrate the hero in you a little bit too 💗

🧡🤍💗Happy Le***an Visibility Day, friends!🧡🤍💗

One of the reasons we love comics so much is because it often feels better representative of the media we want to see. It can be hard to find television shows or movies, for example, showcasing diverse stories, but if your dream is to read an adorable sapphic story about a q***r werewolf barista, then comics have you covered! We’re thankful for the ever-growing catalog of amazing stories that show diversity within the le***an experience, and we can’t wait to see everything to come.

Shown here are a few of our favorite le***an characters, but for a larger collection, head to the link in our bio!

Simu Liu decided to gift everyone else something special on his birthday- the first look at the official teaser poster for Marvel Studios’ upcoming film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings!

Are you looking forward to the film’s release in September? We’ve been in love with Simu on the Canadian comedy Kim’s Convenience for the last five years and can’t wait to see him on the silver screen!

[ID: Superman is shown speaking to a group of children, and the text reads “...and remember, boys and girls, your school- like our country- is made up of Americans of many different races, religions and national origins. So...if you hear anybody talk against a schoolmate or anyone else because of his religion, race or national origin- don’t wait: tell him that kind of talk is un-American.”]
