Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake is looking for Maryland-based thrifters and creatives to partner with us this fall for our Goodwill Halloween Creator Program! Apply today: https://tinyurl.com/goodwillhalloweencreator

Creators must be based within our territory: Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Harford County, Howard County, Anne Arundel County, Cecil County, and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Applications will close Sunday August 30th at 11:59pm.

If selected, creators will partner with us for a 2-month period, September 1st to October 31st, 2026. Creators will be expected to deliver Halloween-themed social posts and engage with our content in exchange for Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake Gift Cards. Specific requirements and additional opportunities will be outlined and agreed upon once creators are selected.

Benefits of the Goodwill Halloween Creator Program include:
• One $150 Goodwill gift card.
• Exposure via Goodwill brand social accounts (63k+ followers), email lists (52k+ subscribers), and other marketing channels.
• Direct access to Goodwill’s marketing team.

Which items qualify as tax-free? The Maryland Comptroller has designated qualifying clothing, shoes, and backpacks as exempt from sales tax for the week of August 9th-15th.

How can I save even more money? Save $10 off any purchase of $50 or more at Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake Retail Stores! This sale is running now through Saturday, August 15th.

Congratulations to the 14 incredible women who just graduated from our reentry program! 👏🎓
These graduates have shown extraordinary courage and determination, completing training designed to build real skills, restore confidence, and open doors to meaningful employment.
The results speak for themselves: of the 1,700 individuals who have graduated from this program, only 27 have reoffended. That's the power of education, community, and the belief that everyone deserves a second chance.
Here's to each and every one of these women and the bright futures ahead. 💪
