KSM Candle Co is a unique soy candle company based in Baltimore, MD. I needed to feel inspired, so I left this part till the end.

When I first started to think about what to write, I wanted to impress people so much with my words of wisdom that I got stuck. And then I remembered that what I love most about myself is my ability to keep things simple. So…I hand knit infinity scarves, I hand pour all natural soy candles, and I make minimalist jewelry. All while entertaining my dog and my daughter. I’ve always been crafty and un

til recently, I never thought to actually make anything for anyone else. I always made things for myself. When I started getting better at what I was doing and actually heard my first, “will you make me one” I thought, YES, I sure will…and I did. Not long after I started making gifts for friends and family did I hear someone say, “you could sell these” and so here I am. I hope you love your handmade items as much as I loved making them…

Proof of life.

I’ve been pretty quiet on here for a while, but life has been moving in some really meaningful ways behind the scenes.

Going back to school after building a business for over a decade was definitely not something I saw coming for myself, but I’m really glad I did it.

One thing I’ve learned is that growth doesn’t always look the way we expect it to. Sometimes it’s quiet and simply looks like allowing yourself to evolve.

I'm still here. Still creating. Just learning to make space for new versions of myself too.
