The festival offers a fun, family-friendly experience with six acres of stunning sunflowers for you to explore and pick. Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including hayrides, a petting farm, live music, and local food and art vendors. Leashed dogs are welcome to join the fun. On Labor Day Sunday The Greenbelt community is invited to the Greenbelt Labor Day Festival. A day full of music, food, crafters selling their wares, jewelry, plants, wood crafts, handmade items, and Fairy Hair! The Greenbelt Labor Day Festival was started in 1955 to raise funds to build a Youth Center. It has been held every year since by the Greenbelt Labor Day Festival Committee and is one of Marylandโs largest all-volunteer-organized events. Fairy Claire will be there, so make sure to get Sparkled!
