Good morning ❤️ I’m reaching out to parents of children who are medically vulnerable, medically complex, immunocompromised, or have significant medical needs and attend Baltimore City Public Schools.
I’m preparing for an upcoming conversation about **school sanitation, illness prevention, sick children being kept home, nursing and medication practices, and overall health and safety for medically vulnerable students.**
I want to hear from YOU. 🗣️
Have you ever had an issue with your child’s school involving:
🧼 Cleanliness or sanitation
🤒 Sick children being sent/kept in school
🦠 Your child being exposed to an illness
🩺 School nurse availability or communication
💊 Medication being given, missed, or handled incorrectly
🏫 Accommodations for your child’s medical needs
