Well I went back to gradeschool and used colored pencils for the first time in decades. The idea of this is that the gradient fins will be transparent, with inks airbrushed to create gradients. Experiment results to come! Let me know what you think of the general ideas.

Navy veg tan for the base and structure, transparent fins to frame the moveable faceplate, black stingray and copper wolffish accents.
