Save the date October 11th, 2-4pm🌻
My next floral workshop is one of my favorite Fall projects! Every October I make dozens of dried floral pumpkins to sell and this year I'm teaching you all the tips and tricks to make them yourself! These make the best Fall decor or festive centerpiece and they last all season because the flowers are preserved. I'll be providing a buffet of hot & cold refreshments, charcuterie, and Fall themed treats to snack on while we get crafty. Everyone goes home with a large dried floral pumpkin and the skills to create this festive Fall centerpiece. There are only 9 seats available, so make sure you register early to save your spot. Floral Design Workshop at Swan Island Dahlias with Sunrise Hill Flowers
Learn the art of floral design in a relaxed, creative environment. Participants will learn tips and tricks from a professional florist in arranging flowers to create an elevated design and learn how to make their arrangement last as long as possible. This class is fun, creative, and educational, so everyone leaves feeling confident in their ability to be their own florist! Everyone takes home their floral masterpiece in a quality ceramic vase. Appropriate for all ages (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is registered for the class and has purchased a ticket).

About the Artist/Florist: Lindsey is a wedding & event floral designer from Banks, Oregon. Her passion for floral design began from growing and arranging flowers in her own backyard and quickly escalated to designing for events and making specialty bouquets and arrangements for holidays and special occasions. Lindsey combines her college education in Fine Arts & Design, her professional background in teaching, and her love of flowers to create fun, beginner-friendly, educational floral design classes for all ages.

Each Participant will leave with a beautiful arrangement of mixed flowers in a quality ceramic vase. (vessel may vary)

All supplies are included in the class fee of $99.00

Length of Class: 2 hours

Minimum Age: This class can be enjoyed by all ages (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is registered for the class and has purchased a ticket)

Come learn the art of floral design and enjoy the Swan Island Dahlia Festival before it's over! Ticket sales for this class ends on September 9th, so make sure to save your spot before then (click the class link in my bio). You'll get to create a beautiful lush centerpiece in a quality ceramic vase with fresh cut dahlias and other locally grown flowers. I'll provide professional tools and teach you how to create a dynamic design, care for cut flowers, and make your flowers last the longest. In the middle of a busy wedding season I snuck away to a place with zero wifi and unlimited nature (but only 20 minutes from home) to set up a little "glamp out" with my first born who is leaving for college next month. I ignored my inbox for a few precious days, and it was exactly what my heart & nervous system needed. Just her and I laughing until we cried, endless card games, bottomless Smore's, long talks, painting and napping by the creek. I will cherish every last moment of this summer together. Last weekend we brought classy & elegant to the countryside at a beautiful private property in Hillsboro. These photos are great examples of how to add floral moments to each area of your wedding like the bar, guest book table, seating chart, welcome sign, and guest tables. Every wedding is imagined by the bride & groom to and brought to life by yours truly to showcase their taste & personality through flowers! Proud Mom moment ❤️ We made it through graduation, grad night, and grad party ALL in one weekend!! Today, as the rain is pouring down, I'm feeling so incredibly grateful for what a blessing it was for us to celebrate such a huge milestone for our first born with so many friends, family, and loved ones (and the most amazing weather too!). We truly felt so much love & support from everyone. She is going to do so many more amazing things in her life, but it was so worth it to pause and celebrate how far she has come!! Shout out to the love of my life and best friend for raising such an amazing human with me ❤️ WE DID IT!! 🎉

1 day, 2 locations, 3 incredible models, and the most fun collab I've ever done with to show off our floral & photography skills! If you are looking for a photographer that you can fully trust to make you look your best, have fun with, and see your wedding through the eyes of true artist, then she is your girl!
