Spots are filling quickly for our events this week!

Friday is our LAST Baby Goat Yoga class of the year, and as of Tuesday morning we only have TWO spots left! Hosted at Apple Hill Farm . Taught by Yoga828 Studio .

We still have 4 spots left for the Needle Felted Alpaca Workshop at the Apple Hill Farm Outpost on Friday at 1 pm, but those spots have been filling quickly over the weekend.

Needle Felting Alpaca Workshop | $65

Apple Hill Farm Outpost | Downtown Banner Elk

Learn how to create a fun, fuzzy alpaca from wool and alpaca fibers! Needle felting is an enjoyable and versatile skill, and this class is great for beginners and experienced crafters. In this class you’ll learn basic felting techniques while creating your own alpaca from wool batt and alpaca fleece. Your finished animal will be about 4 inches tall.

The class fee includes all the fiber needed for your project and a felting needle that you can take home. During class you’ll use additional felting tools provided by the instructor. If you already own felting tools, feel free to bring them along.

Ages 10+, minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Maximum class size 12.
Cost: $65

About the instructor:
A crafter since childhood, Jennifer Costa discovered needle felting in 2020. She was hooked after the first few stabs! She enjoys landscape and three-dimensional felting, and is especially passionate about teaching her craft to others. She also sells her work in galleries around NC. NC Watermelon, toasted almonds, mint, lemon, pickled onion, Heritage Farms goat cheese and extra virgin olive oil. Finished with a citrus honey balsalmic reduction

Light. Citrus. Rejuvenating.

A spring faire of cardamom, citrus, and rosemary sublime.

A delightful burst of new spring growth. Bold rosemary and peppermint notes tingle the tongue while crisp and calming Sencha tea carries the sensation to the final lingering of a perfect union of cardamom and lemon. This triumphant beginning fades to a playful linger of creamy citrus.
