We are a bath + body, candle loving retail shop where all of our products are crafted FROM SCRATCH... no bases here... We specialize in homemade soaps, lotions, candles, sugar scrubs, lip balms all made right here in Bardstown, Kentucky. We love hand crafting soap from natural materials such as Olive Oil, Coconut Oil and Vegetable oil. Care is taken to provide a product that our customers love to use on their skin at a reasonable price.

We've made beard soap for the fellas.

Then one day a lady told us:

"I don't have a beard, but it's the best thing I've ever used for shaving my legs."

Now every time we sell a bar, we're not entirely sure where it's going.

One of our favorite sayings around here is...

"Wick Size Matters."

And it's true.

A wick that's too small can cause a candle to tunnel, leaving wax stuck to the sides.

A wick that's too large can burn too hot, burn too fast, and create excess soot.

That's why candle making is more science than most people realize.

The wax, fragrance, jar size, and wick all have to work together to create a clean, even burn.

So the next time you light a candle, remember...

It's backyard cookouts.

It's big dreams.

It's history.

It's innovation.

It's people from different backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life coming together to create one big melting pot.

And apparently... it's thousands of LEGO bricks. 😄

My latest display is coming together one piece at a time as we celebrate America's 250th birthday.

From the Statue of Liberty to the moon landing, from hot dogs on the grill to a diverse crowd of minifigures, I wanted this display to celebrate the many things that make America... America.
