Current views of the gardens! We are starting the awkward “gap” phase of the growing season where there’s so much growing, but not a whole bunch blooming and that’s ok!

This growing season started in January for me and feels like it’s been nonstop until now! I’m looking forward to soaking this time up to reset and hang out with my family before all the magic begins!

There’s still a never ending to do list of weeding, netting, pinching, turning over beds, seed starting, etc.

Don’t worry, there are still blooms for me to share, but for now I’m excited to catch my breath!

The flowers that started it all for me are beginning to bloom and I find myself going back to those distant memories I have of me as a little girl and my grandma showing their magic! Snapdragons will forever be grown here and will forever hold a special place in my heart! 🤍

Here’s the quick version of how I dig + store my ranunculus for next season blooms and to share with you!

Dig, give them a shake, rinse, bleach dip*, rinse, dry, divide + store*

*For the bleach dip I do a small amount of bleach to water ratio
*For storage I store them in these bulb sacs or a paper bag would work in a dark, cool place in our home

Ranunculus Season-a quickie, but a goodie!

For those that followed along I would say crate growing them is not ideal! I had some that did great and others not so much! I did plant some in raised garden beds and those did beautifully!

I will share more soon about how I dig and store them for next season!
