We are looking forward to seeing everyone to share memories and say goodbye at the The Virginia Beer Company from 5-8 this Saturday the 9th.

Parking may be a challenge, there is overflow available next door at Ebby’s Autobody, next door to Ebby’s at Parkway Printshop, down the street at FISH (312 Second Street) and across the street at the shopping center behind Hardees (457 Merrimac Trail).

Mark your calendars! We are having a yard sale, this Saturday July 26th, 11am-4pm, help us empty the barn of the remaining consignment bikes, clothing, and miscellaneous inventory. Cash Only.

And Saturday August 9th come say goodbye at Virginia Beer Company between 5-8pm! We'd love to say goodbye to as many friends as we can before we pull out the following week for a more northern latitude.

As many of you are aware, Red Barn Bicycles is officially out of business. It’s been an amazing 12+ years and I am so grateful to the entire cycling community in the greater Williamsburg area. It’s really tough to wrap up what the shop and community mean to me in words.

As for what’s next, I am delighted to announce that I have accepted a position at Minneapolis College as the instructor of their Bicycle Assembly and Repair Technician program. I couldn’t be more excited to have a chance to train the next generation of mechanics.

We are relocating to Minneapolis in mid-August, details of a farewell event to follow.
