I’m working on custom order place mats. Really would like one more piece of fabric to cut. I’m thinking something with a print or plaid in a slightly darker color would be a good fit. Back to the thrift stores tomorrow to search and find!

I’m weaving a lot because the basement is cooler during this heat wave… Here’s a denim with small bits of a pink, green and blue floral fabric. Even though I’m not a pink person I really like it!

Making rugs is such fun and a joy! I put together a flannel sheet, a plaid shirt, and a large handful of dyed sock loops. Kind of reminds me of a flock of fuzzy caterpillars. Or would that be a herd? Nope, it’s an army. If you haven’t learned enough today, ask me a weaving question.. 😃

Sorting through my stash of purple-maroon-burgundy fabrics this morning. It takes time to put them into groups of possible rugs. Now I need to decide if I should add other colors. Not really happy with all of them. Can you guess which ones won’t make it to the rug stage?
