Had the Mitchell’s out yesterday for the 14th year in a row and like usual all I have to do with them is take them to the fish and they handle the rest. Ed caught a Rutgers tagged fluke the second this year for the boat. in the afternoon I had Mike and his sons out Joey caught his first striper and a bunch of bluefish.

Had Evan and Mike out this morning Evan is been fishing with me for about 8 years and we try to switch it up each time. this morning started with gator bluefish almost every cast with a couple schoolie stripers mixed in. The boys were talking about sharks the whole time so we said what the heck let’s go try for some. We caught a new species even for me with a small Sharpnose shark which is a southern species and a about an 80 pound brown shark

Had Lisa and Casey out this morning for some stripers and Seabass

Two trips today had the surf city PD out this morning they got 8 bass and about a dozen bluefish. In the afternoon I had Colin and Brody out and they went to work catching 7 stripers and a handful of bluefish. We used plugs bucktails and spot and they produced on both trips

Bluefish Seabass and stripers for my guys this weekend Laura had me take her out Friday night and she got on them as well.

Started my charter season Friday evening with Chris sherry and Mike. Stripers chewed pretty good had 18 on plugs and shads. Saturday morning was more of a struggle with only 1 keeper for Scott and crew
