The part of Nicole’s story that matters most isn’t the 20 pounds.
It’s that she’d lost weight plenty of times before. So losing it was never her problem. Keeping it off was.
That’s what the extreme-diet cycle does. It gets you the number, then quietly sets you up to gain it all back, so you blame yourself and go even more extreme next time. Round and round.
The thing that finally broke it wasn’t more restriction. It was eating more, training smarter, and doing the unglamorous work of untangling why food had so much power over her in the first place.
Once “healthy” and “unhealthy” stopped being moral labels, the whole thing got lighter.
She’s not just lighter on the scale. She’s more energized, more confident, and actually taking care of herself instead of punishing herself.
Proud of you, Nicole!
