I realize you probably can't see the scope of how big this retention pond is that they're building to accommodate the runoff from parking lot near the new high school's football field. To put it in perspective, you could probably pick up the Little Red Barn gallery and put it into that hole and cover it with dirt and you wouldn't even know what's there!!
I will be back to some regular hours starting on Wednesday this week. Even if you don't want to see what's going on in the gallery, you might want to sit on the porch and watch all the crazy construction going on. It's pretty entertaining!! οΏΌ
Thank you all for your patience and kindness shown to me and my family during the past 6 months. We will miss Paul very much - his talent and friendly conversations to all visited the gallery made our days best.
One of the perks of a small town isn't the fact that there's tons of entertainment and shopping venues as in bigger cities, but the people you meet that become part of one big family who cares about you - and supports you when life gets hard.

Thank you for all the support given to me and my family in the past 2 weeks. To dispel any rumors, the gallery hours will be adjusted to meet my schedule, however, my pottery business is not closing or moving. This is an historic building - and an important part of Barnwell's history along with the history of the displaced towns - Ellenton, Dunbarton, Meyers Mill and Leigh - during the building of 'the Site'. It is my stewardship that plans to preserve that history of "The Little Red Barn" and the Leigh Commissary.

Goat milk soaps have been refilled with 2 new scents - Blueberry ( it makes my gallery smell like blueberries!) and Blue Sea Goat Milk Soap and Moroccan Vanilla Goat Milk Soap. As always, purchase four goat milk, soaps, or any other of our spa soaps and get a free soap saver bag.

When I say the shelf is overflowing with an assortment of jams and relish, I am not kidding!! So, for all my Little Red Barn peeps just come in and say "Happy Jam" and I will give you a dollar off each jam you purchase for the rest of this week!
I have strawberry rhubarb, peach, blueberry, plum, Holiday Jam (strawberry, cranberry and orange mix) andοΏΌ pear relish. Hours this week : Wednesday through Friday 10-4 and Saturday 9:30-3.

Blueberry jam now added on the goodness shelf! The berries come from my own bushes - no chemicals used on them ever! So now there's peach, plum, strawberry rhubarb and red pepper jams along with pear relish and lots of wonderful honey flavors. Come shop today and the rest of the week until 3 pm.
