Saturday, August 15th, 30 Jensen Rd. Barre, VT - we’ll be open from 10 to 4, and we have been filling the barn with things found along the way — furniture, baskets, textiles, old dishes, objects never seen before and things that immediately make us wonder, Who owned this? Where did it come from? What stories could it tell?
That’s really what we love about antiques. It’s not just the beauty of an old piece. It’s the mystery.
Every scratch, every repair, every worn spot tells us that someone used it, loved it, carried it, lived with it. Some of these things have traveled hundreds or even thousands of miles to end up here in this old Vermont barn.
