I can’t get enough oyster shells in my home! I didn’t understand them till we lived here, but going on any dock they are all over the banks. My personal favorites? These ornaments from for our tree! They are even more beautiful in person and the Y ornament is simply stunning!

🎄Christmas came early at our home, Meet Tucker James. 8 weeks old and he has stolen our hearts! ♥️
What a joy to have a family dog and watch the kids welcome this sweet boy into our lives and love on him. I swear he’s already grown since we brought him home Friday. Sorry in advance for all the puppy love you’ll see on this page but I am head over heels for this guy! 🐾🐾 Can you blame me? 🥰

Things are slowly coming together around here! This room is my favorite!! Coffee dates and wine nights, this room is ready for conversation and friends! Coastal, soothing an neutral were my inspiration for this space. The chairs are super adorable and the coffee table is a fabulous dupe!

Getting so close friends! One week and we will be calling this home. 💙 Haint Blue ceilings on the porches and Charleston White for the exterior, we went all in costal but why not?! Landscaping goes in tomorrow and at some point this week our door will get stained. Dreaming of seeing those gas lanterns turned on and pulling up to this house with the keys. 🔑 I’m not going to lie, living in Charleston is a dream and this house we will turn into our home is one of my favorite parts of our story here. 💙 I can’t wait to share it all with you!

And they are off! First day of kindergarten and first grade! Ryan and I drove off and talked about how different the second child is. Chloe had to be brave and go in herself, Paxton gets his sister to walk in to class. ♥️ He will never be in a school without one of his sisters and in two years I have all three at this school for three straight years. 🍎 Lots of coyote nation ahead for the Young crew! 🍎 Hope everyone has a great first day!

Celebrating 8 years today! Looking back on our wedding pictures, can’t say I’d change a thing about the day. Navy and pink, coastal vibes (married on the beach) and garden themed outdoor “party” reception at my parents. We had bags sets, a cigar bar, bonfire going and of course more monogrammed things than anyone cared about but me. 😉 My girls were in Lilly and the boys in Vineyard, not your traditional wedding attire but it was so us and there was zero, I mean zero, stress that July day. It’s kinda funny looking at the pictures now to think anyone should be surprised we ended up on the coast and this town.
While Ry is in Chicago and I’m here today, I don’t care one bit quite truthfully. Everyday with him is a blessing and happy so I don’t need today to make me feel like it. I still feel like I scored in the husband department 8 years later. Cheers Ry!
And yes, if you scroll through, I did monogram each guests wine glasses. Surprised? Didn’t think so. 😜

Want to know a little secret? I have a obsession. I’ve been collecting it nearly 15 years and have way more than I’m ever going to admit. Instead of China we registered for courtly check (iykyk). I have a room in my house that gets taken over by Mackenzie Christmas ornaments and decor at the holidays. Like I said, obsessed. But the pieces are oh so classic so Ryan doesn’t fight it. 🥴
However, I have a little pickle. I have all black and white courtly and now I’m wanting the blue. .home mixes the two colors beautifully but I’m scared to go down the rabbit hole of collecting the blue now too. But my new house, all blues.
I’m shopping the sale and so torn on which color to get and that water dispenser is on sale! 🙌

Sharing Ryan’s current obsessions. If you know my husband, he doesn’t care about brands but these are two clothing brands he can’t stop buying! Top are his week picks, bottom weekend. During the week you can find him solely wearing the clothing line up top and dear lord, I cannot get him to wear anything on the weekends besides the line he discovered below! And I approve! 😉 It’s an athleisure line you’ll want to get behind!
The work bag he’s had for years and loves it- he used to use it on the train in Chicago and still uses it down here, though his commute is a little different. ☺️ And I’ve linked it on sale!!!

Meet 💙. Zoom in on the pattern, it’s Chicago! The owner, Eliza, hand draws each of these adorable patterns. There are towns and cities from all over and made on the most luxurious 100% Pima cotton material (why yes, Paxton did ask if he could sleep in the shirt and of course Berkeley followed suit 😆). She does offer jammies though, which clearly need to be next on our list.
Berkeley and Paxton are wearing their normal sizes, Chloe is in a 5t and even though she’s a six, it fit her perfectly!
I’ll link them in stories and show detail on these adorable pieces!
