Counting down the days until we host her in our shop!

Evening update for no one who asked 😜

Today’s adventures lead to 1 batch of salsa, freezing a couple (literally, only two-I got bored) bags of apple slices, and making a trip to hobby lobby!

So here I sit for a little bit (my bet is less than 10 minutes 😴) with some flannel and my Grandma’s trusty serger! This project is going to be so, so, SO perfect for Burr Oak Farms Refillery!

Tonight, we’re at the cross country meet watching our son run — and the notifications can wait. 🏃‍♂️💛

There’s always going to be a comment to answer, an order to pack, a post to plan. But there’s only one version of tonight, watching him give everything he’s got out there. So the phone’s staying in my pocket a little longer than usual.

The shop will still be there tomorrow. This won’t. 🌿

A morning in the life… 🌾📚

Farm chores before the sun’s fully up, lunches packed, kids at the bus stop, and then straight into my classroom to get ready for a room full of students. The shop is just one piece of a much bigger puzzle most days — and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Some days are quiet. This was not one of them. And I love every minute anyway. 🌿
