As an Indigenous woman-owned business, we celebrate our ancestors, our living cultures, and the traditions we carry forward. It’s our heritage. It’s who we are.

Last week was a whirlwind! Didn’t get video of all our work but our team put together over 100 centerpiece event design over 100 homecoming designs, and worked in a couple of bridal party pickups! I am so thankful for my girls!! We did it!

I’ve got to brag on this young man!

After visiting the Dewey FFA class and sharing a few pointers with the students about their floral arrangements, I received a message from his dad letting me know that he won Grand Champion at the Washington County Free Fair! I am so incredibly proud. This is exactly why I love teaching the next generation.

But my proudest moment came when his mom told me they were sitting in a lobby and he noticed a faux ficus tree that needed to be fluffed and readjusted—and she agreed! That tells me he is already developing an eye for balance and dimension.

I remember learning about color theory, dimension, and balance and how it completely changed the way I saw art and understood design. It unlocked an entire world for me—one I thank God every day that I get to be a part of.

Knowing this young man has gained a new skill makes me so excited to see what he creates next. Even if his future isn’t in floral design, an eye for color, balance, and dimension can be used in so many different trades and creative fields.

Congratulations, Grand Champion! Keep creating—I can’t wait to see where this takes you!

🌸 If you have ever wanted to eat flowers… NOW is your chance!!! 🌸

We are SO excited to partner with culinary artist Hilary Kamplain to bring you a truly one-of-a-kind experience—a six-course tasting menu featuring edible flowers and local produce, all served in the beautiful setting of our new café!

I spent my childhood pulling the stamens out of honeysuckle and eating those tiny little yellow flowers you could find in the backyard. 🌼 But the first time I experienced flowers prepared by a chef was at Chef Hilary’s Harvest Dinner.

She cooked an entire sunflower head like an artichoke, served it with this beautiful dressing, and sprinkled sunflower petals across the dish. And I’m not even kidding—I teared up a little. 😂🌻

As a florist, I have the urge to eat the flowers we bring into our shop on a pretty regular basis 😂, so getting to experience them transformed into something completely unexpected by Chef Hilary was an absolute treat.

And now we get to bring that experience to our café. 🥹🌸

Flowers, local produce, incredible food, and six courses created by an amazingly talented chef—this is going to be such a special night, and you do NOT want to miss it!
