Dave's New England Food Co. will be at Pinkham Real Estate across from the closed TD Bank.

Look for our light up Lemonades/Limeades and famous Kettle Corn to find us in our castle trailer.

WE ARE NOT AT THE GIBSON CENTER OR BEHIND FRONTSIDE.

The COLD WEATHER EMERGENCY PROGRAM is OUT of FUNDING. It was used during the first 6-7 extremely cold weeks of the winter. Repeat: Carroll County's Cold Weather Emergency Shelter Program — administered by the Way Station — has run out of funding.

If you are aware of people in need of resources, they will now need to contact local towns for emergency assistance, since the county funding is expended. We are working with local towns and agencies to continue creating some sort of safety net, but it doesn't work for everyone.

We are staying in touch with the people we have been helping, to warn about upcoming weather and try to encourage making plans for safe arrangements. Most people find solutions.

Using the state-funded Cold Weather program, we provided over 1000 bed nights starting in December, due to extreme temperatures and conditions. This winter was much harsher much sooner than past years. Other areas of the state also reported providing at least 1000 bed nights in the same time period. Consequently, our funding is depleted.

Sadly, all we can offer at this time, during regular Way Station business hours, will be camping gear (tents and sleeping bags), gas cards, and other regular services. We cannot place people in hotels anymore.

Contact Dan Lavigne via 603.452.7113 if you need camping gear (during regular hours of operation). Since we aren't a 24/7 response system, we do not send staff or volunteers out during the snow and extreme temps. We work to provide such items in advance to everyone we can reach.

If you have questions about the Cold Weather program, please contact Ann Cady @ 603.452.8428. She will refer you to someone else on the team if she cannot answer the question.
