A lot of folks have been sending me things about a person who was previously at the Farmers Market and is getting ready to open their brick-and-mortar business in Smithville.
I won’t mention their name, because if you’re from Bastrop, chances are the word has already gotten to you.
What I will say is that I’m proud to see our community looking out for one another and, most importantly, looking out for our children. ❤️ Protecting kids should never be controversial.
And while we’re talking about where you choose to spend your money, let me give you a few reasons to support our little flower farm:
🌸 We were honored as the 2026 Community Partner of the Year for the Children’s Advocacy Center.
🌸 We believe in being a voice for children.
🌸 We believe in protecting innocent children and creating safe spaces for them.
🌸 We stand firmly against child abuse and exploitation.
🌸 And when you support our business, you’re supporting a family-owned local business that believes in giving back to the community we call home.
So if you’ve been looking for a reason to support your local flower farmer… here’s your sign. 🌻
Buy your flowers from people who support your kids.
Support businesses that support your community.
And keep looking out for one another. ❤️
