A lot of folks have been sending me things about a person who was previously at the Farmers Market and is getting ready to open their brick-and-mortar business in Smithville.

I won’t mention their name, because if you’re from Bastrop, chances are the word has already gotten to you.

What I will say is that I’m proud to see our community looking out for one another and, most importantly, looking out for our children. ❤️ Protecting kids should never be controversial.

And while we’re talking about where you choose to spend your money, let me give you a few reasons to support our little flower farm:

This is the calm before the storm. Spring seed starting is right around the corner. 🤭 beds are prepped, irrigation is laid out. Just need some fresh compost and it’s go time!

Our website is currently down while I work on updating and refreshing it. I’ll be adding our houseplants first, and as flowers become available from the flower farm, I’ll be adding those to the website as well.

Austin area florists, we’re planning next years crop. What do you want to see more of?

This helps me get a better idea of what to buy and prep for the seasons ahead. Yes we’re in Summer but spring prep is right around the corner and we’re starting to germinate seeds to overwinter crops.
