Larryland Music Store, located in Bastrop, has been an outstanding resource for musicians since 2011. Inside our cozy 1800s building, you’ll find an extensive inventory of electric and acoustic guitars, mandolins, violins, banjos, fiddles, drums, and much more. New, used, or vintage -- you’ll be able to find the right instrument for you. There’s also an assortment of amplifiers and musical accesso

ries as well. As Larry likes to put it, "We carry new, used, and consignments, and we buy, sell, or trade just about any instrument you have." If Larryland doesn’t have what you’re looking for in stock, oftentimes we can order it on the spot. On the first Friday of every month, we host Pickin’ on the Porch to gather the community for a jam session at the shop. For us, our customers come first, and we wouldn’t want it any other way.

My compadre Chuggy Hernandez & his family have lost their mother and Matriarch Mrs Hernandez. She was 94 and lived a beautiful life ! What a lady ❤️ She will be missed! RIP

Larry Wilson

Born in Austin, Raised on the East side of Houston - Larry got his start in the blues scene playing local Houston bars, venues, and anywhere he could get in and showcase his skill. Fast forward a few years, Larry made his move back to Austin where he quickly got involved with some industry heavy hitters, including his long time friend and musical companion, Jimmy LaFave. He made his mark in Bastrop County with his beloved music shop, Larryland Music, along with the creation of the long time running Pickin’ on The Porch which gained state-wide recognition within the first two years. He is now based in Smithville and will be performing at Fat Cat Lounge and Cafe on Thursday, March 23rd for SMALL TOWN GOLD Dinner showcase benefiting Songs of Smithville .
