❄️ Shipping Orders Update ❄️

The freezing rain might be over, but unfortunately the ice is here to stay for another day or so. With that said, we are still without power along with thousands of people across our state. We didn’t work today, but tomorrow we will start processing orders and will have them ready to ship. I’m not sure if USPS will be running or even if they do what delays will incur due to this storm. We’re sorry for any inconvenience! Y’all stay warm and safe ❄️

The kids are back in school, so that means it’s fall right?? 🍂🍁🎃 Our fall and Halloween fabrics are always my favorite to cut, and this order was just 👌🏻

Last month, I had the privilege to make this quilt for a special friend of ours whose son graduated from OCS this year. It was a graduation gift from them to their son. I enjoyed having a small part of making this memory for him ❤️

Happy Monday ☀️

This is the last week for the Shop Hop. We’ve enjoyed meeting and visiting with everyone near and far.

I love telling the story of how our business started. From sewing baby items out of our little bedroom in our first house that eventually led to selling fabric all while we both had full time jobs. I started out with just a few collections and stored the bolts in boxes. I didn’t even have a cutting table at that time and would roll out the fabric and cut it on a mat on my bedroom floor. Fast forward to today, we have a shop outside our house with lots of shelves and ample workspace. And for the past 3 years, I’ve been running the shop full time. It’s been challenging, fun, rewarding and a whole lot of hard work. I do a lot of things outside of the fabric shop, so finding that balance has been the hardest for me. But with a good partner by my side (my husband Jacob), I’m encouraged daily to keep pressing on! 💕
