We just got back from picking up this incredible BIG BEAUTY—a piece of Bat Cave history! 🦇❤️
We want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Branton Burleson for this amazing gift to our community. We are beyond blessed and grateful to be the new caretakers of this piece of Bat Cave history.
There’s just something special about seeing BAT CAVE on that sign. 🥰🦇

Hurricane Helene: Our Story – Part Three

In the days and months following Hurricane Helene, we quickly learned that hope has no hometown. It came from near and far through the hearts of people who simply wanted to help.

To our friends from Franklin, North Carolina, Old Fort, North Carolina, and Atlanta, Georgia—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

During one of the most difficult times in our lives, you showed up with compassion, generosity, and unwavering support. Your kindness helped lift our spirits and reminded us that we were never alone in this journey.

As we continue sharing our story, because our recovery was made possible by people like you. Your love and encouragement will never be forgotten.

We are beyond blessed and forever grateful.

What Hurricane Helene Left Us : Part 1
So let's start from the beginning.
Day 6 was the first time we were able to get down and check on our shop. Nothing could have prepared us for what we found. The devastation, the heartbreak, and the overwhelming reality of what Hurricane Helene had left behind.
Like so many others in our community, we stood there trying to process it all. The damage wasn't just to buildings and belongings—it was to lives, dreams, and a way of life we had worked so hard to build.
For months, we've focused on helping others, putting our community first, and doing whatever we could to make a difference. We stayed quiet about our own struggles because there were bigger needs all around us.
Now, it's time to heal.
It's time to share our story—the challenges, the losses, the victories, and the incredible acts of kindness that carried us through some of our darkest days.
This is where our journey begins. Not to dwell on the destruction, but to remember how far we've come, honor those who stood beside us, and show what resilience, faith, and community truly look like.
The road hasn't been easy, but we're still here. And our story is just beginning.
