Christmas magic has descended upon the NEW in Batavia IL! Everywhere you look you’ll see twinkling lights, stunning antiques, and vintage holiday magic. Each and every vendor made their space spectacular, and you won’t want to miss it.
What vintage Christmas decorations mean the most to you? I’m always on the hunt for vintage Dala horses- the older and more patinaed the better. They remind me of my childhood, Julboard at Grandma and Grandpas. Swedish meatballs, lingonberries, glög, pepparkoker, and opening gifts under the rainbow tree lights on the brownish-orange carpet, then driving home through the snow and luminaries to wait for Santa.

My fingers may be bruised, BUT 5 more handmade beaded trees (made with a mix of vintage and new beads and jewelry) headed to in Batavia tomorrow! These are a labor of love- I work on them throughout the year. Each one is unique based on what kinds of broken and mismatched bits and baubles I can find. And they go fast (especially the green ones). One day I might get sick of making them, but for now after this I think I’ll be able to make maybe 3 more for the season. What color should I work on next??
