Many of you told us this was the best car show yet — and we couldn’t agree more! It was a fantastic event on so many levels, but the most meaningful part for the Marketplace, Big Daddy's Garage LLC Quality Auto Mart & Service and Widener Automotive Inc.. was the opportunity to give back.

Together, we raised $2,600 for Safe Passage, Inc., an organization making a difference in the lives of those in our community.

A message from Cari, Executive Director of Safe Passage.
"We are beyond thrilled to add this to the funding to offset the 23% loss of funding from Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) federal funding administered through the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI). This will allow us to continue life saving services the way in which the Batesville community and all six of our counties have come to expect, including our 24/7 text and helpline, emergency shelter, and mobile advocacy services. We had so many beautiful cars and bikes at our Show last weekend, that we had to fill the streets. People said this was the best car show they have ever been to.

This was due to the wonderful sponsors we had helping - Big Daddy's Garage LLC, Widener Automotive Inc. and Quality Auto Mart & Service set out to make this show bigger and better than ever. Mission accomplished.

Fast Restorations and Med Mizer joined in to help create some amazing awards. Over 30 awards were given out with a Best of Show belt that rivaled any big time wresting belt given out.
O'Reilly Auto, NAPA Auto, and Advanced Auto along with Quality Auto Mart & Service donated so many door prizes.

This was also a fundraiser for Safe Passage, Inc.. We will have an update on how much was donated soon.

All in all, just a really fun day thanks to so many people who care about cars. To all of you, THANK YOU. Mark you calendar for next year's Car & Bike Show - June 5, 2027.

What a day, what a Car Show last Saturday was. A very big thank you to our food trucks Tacos 2Go and Third Place Brookville & Metamora Pizza Truck. And to the Roaming Mug Coffee truck for keeping everyone caffinated and to the The Daily Scoop - Batesville for dishing up the ice cream.
