Shop with a purpose! Make your dollars count in our community!
The Fresh Start Resale Shop first opened to provide clothing and household items to our shelter clients. Most clients leave home with little or no possessions. It is our mission to provide basic necessities for each client and help them with household items once they are ready to set up a new home. The store has been so successful that it now provides much needed revenue for our program.
All donations and all profits received from the Fresh Start Resale Shop are used to fight domestic violence and sexual assault victims in Independence and surrounding counties. We serve all clients free of charge and without prejudice.
