It is crazy to think that Uptown Sports Card Store has turned one. A year ago, I opened the doors with one goal in mind, be a place built for collectors where they can come to find the rare and obscure pieces they’re searching for. One of my main goals was to remain scalable, mobile, and able to pivot at a moments notice. I have always tried to lead with transparency, honesty, integrity, and humility. I am so fortunate to be bolstered by a great community and consumer base.
Throughout the last year, thousands of cards have come in and out of our possession, into the hands of collectors. I pride myself on getting collectables into the hands of the end consumer. I decided to post a few of my favorites. Not necessarily the most expensive or the rarest, but the pieces that have a story, and remind me why I love the business.
Thank you to everyone who has stopped in, shopped with us, made a deal with us, liked a piece of content, or commented on a post.
Year one was all about proving a concept and becoming an anchor not only in our community but the hobby.
Year two is about growth and building something that transcends the pieces of cardboard that we love.

A fun time seeing my guy Matt Young and doing a deal with him. Love you bro 💪
Two cards out of my favorite set of all time. The Jackie is probably the best 1.5 in the world. What a blazer.
So fortunate to have great friends in the hobby, Jeremy Kuhlmann put this Ruth in my hands for my first Ruth ever. Can’t ever go wrong with the Babe.
The first ever card I bought in the store. WOW, what a piece. What a start.
My first ever Mantle rookie. Don’t know where I would be without my buddy Mike, who sold me this card. Have learned so much from him. Thank you man.
Lou remains one of my favorite baseball figures ever. A true legend. A true captain. A reminder of a simpler game. The individual hero always will live on.
Two modern basketball grails. Wow. Unreal eye appeal. Sometimes it’s easy to become numb to how cool some of the products I buy are.
One of my favorite cards ever. So sick. Pure 90s.
Thank you.
