The LSU AgCenter Garden Show features plant sales, garden products, landscape displays and demonstrations, a plant health clinic, children’s activities, and an Ask the Experts booth. There is something for growers of all ages.

After closely monitoring weather conditions and consulting with state weather experts, BREADA has made the difficult decision to cancel the market on Saturday March 15 to ensure the safety of vendors and customers alike. With a 4/5 level severe weather threat, the potential for hazardous road conditions and extreme weather (including tornadoes) poses a serious risk to those attempting to travel to and from the market.
While it is extremely rare for us to cancel Saturday markets due to weather, we are prioritizing the safety of our community. Our vendors come from 17 different parishes across the state, with some traveling up to two hours each way.
We have called this cancellation today to respect that farmers and vendors prepare for the Saturday market on Fridays-picking produce, baking, and loading their vehicles.

We will resume regular market operations next week. Thank you for your support.
