This is a release from Lunar about the Spears Body bag promotion:

Dear Retailers,

Ex Posse - Keenspot and Mark Spears have asked Lunar Distribution to make MARK SPEARS GRAVEYARD SHIFT #1 CVR D BODY BAG EDITION fully returnable. The returnability window is from 11/1/2026 through 11/30/2026.

As a publisher, this is the first time in our nearly 27 years of operation that we have made ANY comic book of ours returnable by comic shops in the direct market.

Fan satisfaction is our top priority. While the Body Bag Edition was produced exactly as originally solicited, we now recognize we made a blunder (to say the least!) by not realizing many collectors might understandably assume it would be something completely different based on the two Mark Spears blind bags we produced last year. This confusion was not intentional in any way on our part, and we should've done a better job of communicating the differences.

The disappointment expressed since the bag hit shelves one week ago has saddened us all terribly. We quickly knew we had to take action, to try and redeem ourselves. We are so sorry we delivered a disappointing and frustrating collecting experience for many of you. Our success is because of you, and we will never take that for granted. We have learned from this experience and will do everything in our power to not let you down again. Thank you for your past and continued support.

Hey, here's an update on the Marvel product of main Spider-Man. 1000 Penguin Random house advised me today that Marvel did not print enough of these books and the ordering was more than they had anticipated on such. It's on such heavy allocation in that our order is one of many that wasn’t honored and has been placed on backorder. ** NOTE we do have a chance to get some IF other orders aren’t received and paid for ( fingers crossed). So at present it’s already gone to 2nd print, I'm gonna get about 200 of those to accommodate all the people that missed out. You can't even find this cover an online I mean it’s completely sold out everywhere so you can't find it online. My Rep explained that was Marvel’s gross miscalculation. I will look to fill some orders in a couple in a few weeks when 2nd print comes out October 28. Thanks for understanding, stay tuned
