💜 This is why we thrift. This is why we give. This is why we serve. 💜

Today at the Perkins Purple Cow, we had the opportunity to help a woman experiencing homelessness who had lost everything she owned.

Because of the generosity of our donors and the support of our shoppers, we were able to provide her with plenty of clothing from the store—giving her some immediate necessities and, hopefully, a little dignity and hope in a very difficult season.

But we didn’t stop there. We also started the ball rolling toward helping her find stable housing and took the first steps toward a new beginning.

Moments like this are a powerful reminder that the Purple Cow is about so much more than thrift shopping. Every donation and every purchase helps make Christ-centered help and lasting change possible.

To everyone who donates, shops, volunteers, and supports the Perkins Purple Cow—thank you. You are helping us turn donations into hope and helping people move toward a better future.

🎓 Celebrating New Beginnings at The O’Brien House! 🎓

What a joy to celebrate the first graduating class of our Job Readiness & Financial Education program with The O’Brien House Recovery Center!

We are incredibly proud of these nine graduates who have worked hard, grown in confidence, and taken important steps toward a brighter and more stable future. 👏

And we had two graduates who couldn’t be with us for the ceremony—because they were already at work! 🙌 That’s the kind of success we love to celebrate!

At the Christian Outreach Center, we believe that meaningful change happens when people are equipped with the tools, encouragement, and opportunities they need to move forward.

Congratulations to all of our graduates! Your story is still being written, and we can’t wait to see what comes next. 💜

Christ-Centered Help. Lasting Change.
