For a small business, your Google review means more than any ad we could buy. If we've helped you, would you take 60 seconds to leave us one? 🙏

Well… we did it. And by "we," I really mean YOU.

Here's the crazy part. We didn't even know we'd been nominated. We never asked a single person for a vote. No campaign, no posts, nothing. You all did this on your own, and we found out when everyone else did. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.

A lot of folks don't know this, but Battle Creek Fi****ms Co. isn't in some big box building. We're a true mom and pop shop, literally in the back of my house. What used to be our four seasons room, where we'd drink coffee and watch the weather roll in, is now a fully licensed, fully stocked gun shop. We built it one shelf, one gun, and one customer at a time.

I can't tell you how many times a new customer has called from the driveway asking, "Am I at the right place? This looks like a house." 😂 Yes, you're at the right place. And yes, it's a house.

So when I found out that little room was voted Best Gun Shop in Michigan for 2026, I'm not too proud to admit I got a little choked up. We went from "let's see if this works" to the best in the state. If that's not rags to riches, I don't know what is.

To every customer who pulled into our driveway wondering if they had the right address, every CPL student who sat in our classes, every member who shows up week after week, and everyone who took the time to vote without us ever asking: THANK YOU. You didn't just vote for a business. You voted for a family and a dream that started in our back room.

We'll never be the biggest shop in Michigan, and that's fine by us. We'll keep doing what got us here: treating you like family, telling you the truth, and making sure you leave knowing more than when you came in.

Come see the little shop that could. Coffee's on me. ☕🇺🇸
