IF LED ZEPPELIN AND AEROSMITH HAD A KID.....there's a pretty damn good chance it would sound like Greta Van Fleet.
A friend told me I needed to give these guys a listen.
So I did.
And DAMN.
Greta Van Fleet is a rock band formed by three brothers — Josh, Jake and Sam Kiszka — along with drummer Danny Wagner. They're a much newer generation of rock than what usually spins around Chimney Rock ’n’ Roll, but their sound feels like somebody cracked open a door straight back into the glory days of big guitars, ridiculous vocals and unapologetic ROCK.
There's definitely some Led Zeppelin running through the veins. A little Aerosmith swagger. Some blues. Some psychedelia. And enough of their own weirdness thrown in to make you keep listening.
And here's the thing:
I don't have a Greta Van Fleet album in the shop.
This isn't me trying to sell you something.
It's me saying, *“Hey, I heard something cool. You should hear it too.”

Because Chimney Rock ’n’ Roll isn't just about the records sitting in the bins.
It's about discovering music.
Old. New. Familiar. Strange. Forgotten. Or something you've somehow managed to miss.
So today I'm dropping a completely imaginary needle on Greta Van Fleet.
If you've never listened to them, give them a shot.

NATURE’S GOT
A PLAYLIST, TOO.

The bees have been busy.
Flower by flower. Field by field. A little nectar. A little pollen. And somehow they turn it into something pretty damn amazing.
