The Ellingsons started Mabels 5 years ago with the desire to fulfill a need in the community and bring a memorable and delicious experience to families from everywhere you stopped by.
Today a new leaf has turned. From the original owners to fantastic mentors to now customers- the baton has been officially passed onto our family to continue this legacy and building a place for the community to continue to gather for a great cup of coffee or ice cream and create more memories on our community corner in Bayport, MN.

Gregg and Robin have had a profound impact on the community, Mabel's Ice Cream and Coffee Shop, and our family.

We want to wish them the best in their future endeavors as we know they will have a world of opportunities and exciting adventures in front of them.

If you stopped in this summer, chances are you saw Wally, Ashley, or their 2 year old son, Finnegan, around. As we transition into fall and winter- Mabels core values, menu and staff is here to stay all year, making our day-day operations seamless, and continuing to carry on the traditions built from the wonderful Ellingson family!

Big things are happening for our coffee roastery! Starting in February, Mabel's Ice Cream & Coffee Shop, in business since 2018, welcomed us to our forever home within the ice cream and coffee shop.
- providing exceptional fresh roasted coffee, delightful new beverage offerings and of course, the staple, amazing ice cream!
