Cord Meyer Development and the Bay Terrace Shopping Center are pleased to welcome the NYPD 109th Precinct Crime Prevention Unit for an Auto Theft Prevention event this Saturday, August 22 from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM.

Eligible residents of the 109th Precinct can receive a FREE steering wheel lock while supplies last.

We heard you, Bayside and Bay Terrace! Cord Meyer Development is excited to announce the return of Barnes & Noble to the Bay Terrace Shopping Center.

For several years, we’ve worked to bring back this neighborhood favorite, which closed in 2015. Today, we’re proud to share that a lease has been signed and a new Barnes & Noble will open in the former Express space. Construction is expected to begin soon.

This milestone reflects the multi-million-dollar investments made by Cord Meyer to enhance and modernize the shopping center, including plans for a new residential community off 26th Avenue. Together, these efforts are helping to attract a dynamic mix of tenants and maintain the Bay Terrace’s position as a vibrant destination for the community.

Stay tuned for more updates on Barnes & Noble and the transformation of the center into a place where people shop, dine, gather, and live — today and for decades to come!
