On September 11, 2001, our Nation experienced unimaginable loss — but we also witnessed extraordinary courage, sacrifice, unity and service.
Among those heroes was FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller. After learning that the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel had been closed, Stephen strapped approximately 60 pounds of gear to his back and ran through the tunnel toward the Twin Towers, where he gave his life while helping others.
His sacrifice and spirit of service inspired the creation of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, an organization that continues to honor our Nation’s heroes by supporting First Responders, Gold Star families, catastrophically injured Veterans, and Veterans in need.
This mission now has an especially meaningful connection to us here in Bayville, New Jersey — the home of Ricottaware® — through Tunnel to Towers’ work in our own community to provide housing and support for Veterans experiencing homelessness.
We are incredibly proud to support an organization whose mission began with one hero’s selfless actions on September 11 and continues changing lives 25 years later.
In honor of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, Ricottaware® will proudly donate a portion of our sales from September 11 through September 18, 2026, to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
