Last Thursday marked my last day with the Meyers Jewelry and Loan crew. I can't thank Lorne and Michelle enough for having me over the last 4 years.
When I started with them I was barely 5 months removed from losing my son and was very much a broken man. Maybe without even knowing it they gave me the compassion and time to heal that I needed.
They've seen me at my lowest point in life with not always the best attitude and yet they kept me around and didn't push me away. They've seen me flood twice in the last 3 years and again feel like the world was just kicking me while I was down but they were there for anything I needed. Even gone as far as to help me with moving away once I resigned. They have been so gracious to not only me but my family, I feel indebted in way I could never repay.
Even through all of life's obstacles I was still learning from them on a daily basis. Whether it was Michelle's unwavering compassion towards others or Lornes financial, business and life insights, I was always listening, always learning. I feel blessed to have known them and spent that time there. I even got attached to that grumpy guy with the scowl on his face, y'all know who I'm talking about lol.
I met many customers, some I would consider friends, had many great conversations and laughs and will be truly missed. Good luck to all of you moving forward and to any potential customer reading this, know that you are in good hands. Hasta la Vista.
