Waiting doesn’t mean God forgot you.

Sometimes God makes us wait because what He’s doing in us is just as important as what we’re asking Him to do for us.

Abraham waited.
Joseph waited.
David waited.

And while they waited, God was preparing them for what was coming.

Waiting builds faith.
Waiting develops character.
Waiting teaches us to trust God when we can’t see what He’s doing.

You may be asking, “God, why is this taking so long?”

Maybe the delay isn’t punishment.
Maybe it’s preparation.

Keep praying. Keep moving forward. Keep trusting Him.

“But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength…” — Isaiah 40:31

Sometimes the waiting is part of the answer.

The next time you stop and admire the beauty of God’s creation, remember this:

You are part of His creation too.

You were created intentionally, wonderfully, and for a purpose. Don’t let the world convince you that your value is determined by your mistakes, your past, your appearance, or anyone else’s opinion.

God doesn’t make accidents. ❤️

Peter didn’t walk on water because he was fearless.

He walked on water because his eyes were on Jesus.

The wind was already blowing. The waves were already there. But Peter stepped out of the boat anyway.

It wasn’t until he took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the storm that fear took over and he began to sink.

And even then, Jesus reached for him.

Maybe the lesson isn’t that you need a life without storms.

Maybe it’s that you need to stop letting the storm become bigger than the One who called you out of the boat.

Keep your eyes on Jesus. Take the step. Trust Him with the waves.

Before you blame her, ask yourself a harder question: Am I truly loving her—or am I just doing what I think will get me what I want?

Real love seeks what is truly best for her, even when it costs you something.

Sometimes she may not recognize that kind of love yet. But many times, the truth is simpler: we’ve been calling selfishness love.

Canaan. Persia. Babylon. Aram. Phoenicia. Asia Minor. Cush. Sheba. Edom.

Different names. Same part of the world. Thousands of years of history connecting Scripture to places that still exist today.

The more you understand the geography of the Bible, the more the Bible starts to come alive.

When Satan tempted Jesus, he didn’t just threaten Him—he offered Him things that sounded appealing: food when He was hungry, protection, power, kingdoms. He even quoted Scripture.
(Matthew 4:1–11)

That’s what makes temptation dangerous.

Sometimes the thing trying to destroy you will look like the thing trying to help you.

It will tell you, “You deserve this.”
“Nobody will know.”
“Just this once.”
“God will understand.”

Jesus didn’t defeat temptation by trusting how He felt. He answered it with truth:

“It is written…”

Know God’s Word well enough that you can recognize a lie—even when it sounds like someone cares about you.
