In recent weeks there have been two major stories of "finds" in the collectible world.

1. Someone bought a Wilt Chamberlain warmup jacket at Goodwill for $3.07. It sold this week for $89,000.

2. An eBay seller had a LeBron All-Star Game jersey listed on eBay for $800. The buyer realized it was actually the real jersey LeBron wore in the 2022 ASG when he hit the game-winner in Cleveland. It's probably worth $500,000.

Iwe often marvel at how it seems that "the hobby" has approached a level of mainstream pe*******on and awareness previously thought impossible. However with opportunities like this still occurring with somewhat regularity, it tells me that regardless of how much media attention, social media attention and general awareness there appears to be about the rapid growth of the market, we have not even come close to full pe*******on.

When it comes to collectibles, we are still incredibly early and that spells out 🚀

Who has antique pens and pencils laying around in a drawer, desk, or old toolbox?

You might be surprised to learn that some vintage fountain pens, mechanical pencils, and writing instruments can be worth hundreds—or even thousands—of dollars to collectors.

Brands like Parker, Waterman, Sheaffer, Montblanc, and others are highly sought after, especially rare or limited-production models.

Before you toss out those old writing tools, take a closer look. You could be sitting on a hidden treasure!

🌳Tree Tots Family Tree Funhouse 🌳

Always fun finding a vintage toy. This Tree Tots Family Tree Funhouse from 1975 and made by Kenner is packed with colorful graphics, creativity, and plenty of nostalgia.

Step back in time to 1913!
I recently came across The Champion Base Ball Game, a pre-war tabletop baseball game that's over 110 years old. Long before video games and fantasy leagues, baseball fans rolled dice and managed games right at their kitchen tables.

The artwork, history, and craftsmanship are incredible, and it's amazing to think this game has survived through two World Wars and more than a century of baseball history.

Any fellow collectors or baseball historians out there? Have you ever seen one of these before?

This is why we do what we do…. The journal is believed to be one of only 200 copies printed in 1782 and includes records of the Continental Congress, declaring independence on July 4, 1776, as well as the nation's struggles during the Revolutionary War. It was purchased alongside a package of other historic items for $300. America

A man uncovered a rare journal from Pennsylvania's House of Representatives dating back to 1776. He discovered it in an unexpected place at the flea market.

Sometimes a deal is just too good to pass up

— this was one of them.

A woman owned a shop buying and selling vintage 1960’s and 70’s clothing back in the 1980’s before closing the doors in 1991. She sadly passed away in 1999, and for the last 35 years everything sat untouched in storage.

Her husband finally decided it was time for it all to go.

I ended up filling my Silverado TWICE and estimate there’s well over 2,000 pieces here.

It’s wild seeing how fashion trends always come full circle, because a lot of these styles are highly desirable again today.

Now comes the fun part — sorting, researching, pricing, and selling. This is the kind of haul vintage pickers dream about.

Where are my cast iron lovers at? 🔥

Picked up a rare #12 large Griswold skillet made between 1906–1912. Griswold was founded in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1865 and became one of the most respected names in American cast iron for its smooth finish and quality craftsmanship.
Over 100 years old and still cooking strong. 🍳

Here is a little history on the markings so if you have a griswold skillet, this guide can help you date your heirloom!

—Erie Era (Pre-1900s): The earliest #12 pans are marked with the "ERIE" logo, featuring a distinct underline or quotations around the word.
—Slant Logo (1906–1912): Features the iconic Griswold logo, but with the word Griswold written in a slanted, italicized script.
—Large Block Logo (1920s–1930s): Features the words GRISWOLD and ERIE, PA written in large, distinct capital letters inside a block shape.
—Small Block Logo (1939–1957): The word Griswold is written in a much smaller block font
