When two passionate small businesses come together, incredible things happen.

This collaborative showpiece between Alchemy Laser Engraving, LLC and Brass Fed Fi****ms started as a mock-up 1911 slide inspired by the legendary WWII fighter aircraft that carried both beauty and bite.

Every panel line, rivet, warning stencil, and aircraft marking was meticulously designed and fiber laser engraved to replicate the look of aircraft skin. Look closely and you’ll find details throughout the slide including:

💥 Authentic aircraft-style rivet patterns
💥 Shark mouth nose art wrapping the front of the slide
💥 Vintage pin-up artwork
💥 Squadron markings and kill tally graphics
💥 Ammunition bay, access panel, and maintenance stencil details
💥 Multiple layers of texture and depth that bring the entire piece to life

After engraving and polishing, the slide was sent to Brass Fed Fi****ms for Cerakote. What began as a simple concept of gunmetal gray with subtle black accents evolved into something far beyond our original vision. Neil Bonzo from Brass Fed took this project to another level, painstakingly hand-coloring the details to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece that looks like it came straight from a warbird restoration hangar.

This project showcases what can happen when craftsmanship, creativity, and attention to detail collide.
