I have one of those Memories that I can never figure out why I remember it so much. My friend Dana had a pair of shoes that were black and neon pink. Dana was older than me so our parents thought that I would be able to wear her hand me downs. Turns out Dana had very small feet. I was so excited about these shoes that I tried to make them fit. I wanted them to work so bad. When I finally realized I couldn’t wear them I begged my mom to go shoe shopping. There were so many different shoes that I would have loved to wear, but I was dead said that I would have this neon pink on my shoes. So this is a dedication to all of you who were passionate about your neons.

I am attempting to learn self striping. Can I just say right now… I’m not the biggest fan of the process. BUT the results are chefs kiss! This striping would be good for scarves, socks, or other smaller items. Named by Captain, the greatest man that ever existed ❤️

According to a few people, I am a one trick pony of rainbows. That is the biggest compliment! If I’m going to have a trick, I’m happy it’s rainbows! People can’t steal your joy or take away from you when you know who you are!

I am working on getting these two self stripping color ways up on the shop. Unfortunately, the process for untangling them after washing them requires a lot of cussing. I should be able to get them up on the shop either tomorrow or Sunday. My thing is if you’re working on a large project, these aren’t exactly self stripping. If you’re working on socks or a scarf they would be. So I’m a little afraid to actually label them as self stripping inside of the shop. Let me know what you’re looking for when you say self stripping.

These are hand dyed, which means they are similar, but not identical. In the event that more than one is purchased, I will do my best to match it up with the most similar from the batch.

These are pima cotton and can be washed. Please use a gentle cycle and a low tumble dry for best color and longevity results. Air drying is your best friend

Out of pure accident, I pulled out my fiber reactive dyes instead of my acid dyes to work on wool. The good thing is fiber reactive dyes are mostly universal and I caught the accident before I added the wrong binders. I am so thankful for this learning opportunity. It extends out the colors that I can use on my wool. I also love the new color mixtures that I was able to receive from the color not binding immediately. Was it a little extra work and an overnight instead of a few hours? Yes. Learning is not fast or easy. But it’s absolutely worth it every time.
