Classic Qualification Criteria

Division Champions:
Every Division Champion from the current season automatically qualifies for the USA Bassin Kayak Classic. (Note: Big Fish Champions are excluded from this rule.)

Regional Competitors:
In Regionals with more than 12 participants, anglers must finish in the top 60% to qualify.
In Regionals with fewer than 12 participants, any angler who successfully scores a fish automatically qualifies.

National Points Champion:
The overall season National Points Champion automatically qualifies for the USA Bassin Kayak Classic.

Angler of the Year:
The USA Bassin Kayak Angler of the Year title will be awarded at the USA Bassin Kayak Classic to the Division Champion who places highest in the event among all competing Division Champions.

Note:
Should a Division Champion or National Points Champion place within a qualifying position during a regional event, that spot will be rolled down. This protocol ensures that Division Champions, who are already qualified for the Classic, do not displace other eligible participants.
