(Sold) For a while now, my dad (David) has also been making knives. He actually makes way more knives than me at this point. Here’s one that he made recently that we’ve still got on hand if anyone needs a last minute Christmas present. It’s 9.5” overall with a 4.75” blade made of ladder pattern Damascus steel and a dessert ironwood handle. This one also comes with a leather sheath that he also made. Finally finished this one after taking a long break. The blade is 128 layer ladder pattern damascus made from 1080 carbon steel and 15N20 nickel steel. The handle is made from Micarta and C-tek, which is a composite made from resin infiltrated aluminum honeycombs. It looks pretty cool and should hold up well.

Now that my new shop is finished, I can actually get back to making a few knives! Here’s another one of my clipped point hunting knives, this time with a 36 layer Damascus steel blade and desert ironwood handle. Cool side note: the steel for the blade was made by my dad who’s been picking up blacksmithing since he retired.

I don’t have as much time for making knives as I used to, so this one took forever. But i think it was worth it. It’s a 7” Bowie (12” overall) in 440C stainless with a stabilized maple handle. The handle gets some bonus points for coming from a tree out of my church’s cemetery.

Finally got around to finishing up another knife. This one is a 7" chef knife made of CPM s35vn stainless steel. This stuff was a nightmare to polish, but it was worth it in the end. The handle is made of desert ironwood and recon stone, with 416 stainless bolsters. I kinda want to keep it haha.

And here's my latest work. This one is 440C stainless with a figured maple/recon stone handle. It's a pain in the butt...

And here's my latest work. This one is 440C stainless with a figured maple/recon stone handle. It's a pain in the butt to put the inlay in these handles, but its definitely worth it in the end.
